Oh god it only a few seconds into the video and I'm getting flashback to my dyslexia test with those stupid  lovely blocks. I remember you would be given a card and you had to make the pattern on the card with the block, oh god I hated it, biggest pain in the arse going. I could never figure out how to make the blocks match the stupid pattern and you had to 25 of them, 25 PATTERN ?! I'M GETTING BLEEDED VIETNAM FLASHBACK TO THIS. For this extra credit I watched a video, " The surprising habits of original thinkers | Adam Grant" , a 15 minuter ted talk video about original thinkers. I found this video very interesting as it explains how original thinkers are usually procrastinators because it gives them time to think and allows for more creativity. I actually have an interesting story of this myself: Back in first year near the end of semester 1, we got 3-4 assignments and all were due in December. I decided to do my digital photography earlier then all the others and left my visual creativity assignment to the last minute. I had my photo essay done before a week before it was due, while I was still drawing and colouring my visual creativity the day it was due ! I thought I would 100% pass digital photography and was hoping that I barely pass visual creativity. I was so surprised that I pass digital photography with a C and got a B+ in Visual ...

So I recently just learned of the Growth Mindset by Carol Dweck, I've never heard of The Growth Mindset or Carol Dweck. I watched two videos about the Growth Mindset on YouTube. It's interesting to me because I'm dyslexic, so my experience with school is failing and when I was in primary school fail all time, I was the child who stay inside because I couldn't do me homework. Probably why I never cared about my grades, what teachers said about it and only focus on my dream: to get into college. Yep, that was my dream, now it's 'make my story idea into an actual story' I remember when My Primary School principal told me I would never get accepted into any Secondary School, joke on her, I'm in University now ! It also interesting to me because I work with kids in scouts, i remember we went on a hike with Cubs in Claire and some of the Cubs moan all the way up.
