Reading 8: Back on track ?

Hello it's me, no the Convid-19 didn't kill me off, I know I'm sad too and so is my father, he would love to stop paying maintenance now God . Okay let's move onto the reading, since the talk with Shaun on Adobe connect, I feel like I'm more on track with the readings. Granted I wasn't too off track but I did take a break last for Group Project and I felt like I didn't know what direction to go with the reading. I do feel like I'm behind from others since I haven't started the introduction or the conclusion or my life but that's no surprise,  but I think this is a good step in the right direction for me. I decided to keep both of my chapter since the word count needs to be at least 2000 words, so losing a chapter would be losing 200 ish, so I was like nope, no way, I'm at writing 200 ish words, I'm not going back. The reason why I didn't write the Introduction or Conclusion is because my body isn't finished, how can I write th...

Reading 6: Writing, Writing and more Writing.

Have I ever told you that I love writing ? No? I love writing. I don't know why or how since I'm terrible at writing but there you go. Honestly it's weird going back and writing this, it feels weird reading what I written last week, feel more like I written it a month ago and it doesn't help that I see all these blue lines too. I feel like a wrote a lot last week and now I feel like I've written too little this week ! Maybe it's because my source are all different and a few are on different topics ? I feel like if I just focus on the history side of things, I would be fine but then shouldn't that be it's own chapters ? Does a game developer need to know the history of video games ? What is my part really all about ? Should I have thought about this before I started writing ? Yeah, probably. I'm not 100% sure if I'm doing the right thing, so it's making me uncertain on writing, the good thing is next week we have no uploads, expect maybe...

Reading 5: Writing the Body

Hello and welcome to my blog. Yes today I'm gonna write a normal blog today and yes this is Sarah. Want proof ? Only Sarah P. A. Hammond could get a reaction off a pair of wish's sock and now has her feet in a bucket of water. What other idiot could do this ? Photo taken by me Anyway let's talk about writing the body, to be honest I didn't have a clue what to write, however I know from writing Fan fiction, just go with it, that writing isn't the important thing, it's editing that improves the work. If you think about how in film, you get footage but it just footage, you need to edited it, to turn it into a film and the same goes for writing. So I knew if I have something down instead of nothing then I could edit it later and make it better. Trust me here lads, you can tell a fan-fiction is bad when they clearly the writer didn't edited it and uploaded it straight away. Anyway I began to write, the only problem is, I couldn't stop ! I was on a ...

Readings 4: Making progress, I think ?

First, I learned how to get access the Online version of the Matrix (Thanks Shaun !), If you guys wanna know then: Go on to the Multimedia Development 2 website and click on writing project. click on the Google Doc you noticed that the chapter titles are blue like a link ? That's because they are, click on it ! It will open a box with with another link, click on it. It will open a new tab with another Google Doc called whatever the chapter is called, there should be another link called "Chapter whatever, research Matrix", click on it. it will open another box with another link, click on it and bam ! Your in the online Matrix of your chapter !  So let's get now to business (or reflection ?), first off: WHY IS MOST OF THE SOURCES/CITATION IS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE ?!  Listen I'm not racist here, I'm just terrible at Languages in general, I've had people online think Englis...

Reading 3: Hitting roadblocks

Okay we talked about How I'm doing my research, now let's talk about the ACTUAL research God if you exist and want to prove it then kill me now. So First off, the Tudublin library can go f--- itself, I'm sorry but when I try to use the website, it would tell me: "this IP is busy.", I tried on Monday through Thursday and I still can't get in ! How can the IP be busy at 1am in the morning ?! So it was to Google/Google Scholars, which thank god, I had better luck. I found this:  Understanding Digital Gaming  By John Kirriemuir, I've had a read it and even started filling out the excel sheet. I also found this article as well:  A Brief Social history of Game play  by   Dmitri   Williams, which is has a section about the history of Games. Too be honest with you, I've been hard time looking for articles for PC Consoles, nevermind Home Consoles . I've been looking for over three hours and have been doing the excel sheet, it may look like I'm not...
