Unity Free Tutorials

Hello and welcome to my blog ! With My Non-swinging Axe. This week I'm looking at unity tutorials for my game, that totally weren't sent by my mate Oisin, cheers Oisin ! To see if they can help my game.

The first one is "PATROL AI WITH UNITY AND C#" Jesus, someone needs to calm down with the CapLk. A handy video that teaches a little bit of different coding but with little explanation of what the code does but personally I recommend muting the video and just because his voice is annoying, I'm half deaf and his voice was giving a headache !

So after doing the tutorial I came across a problem, the script doesn't seem to be working, there's supposed to be a speed box but as you can see there is none, even after I tried to listen to the video I couldn't get it to work.

Moving onto the next tutorial, "How to make Doors in Unity" yes I'm serious. This tutorial teaches you how to create, well doors and how to make them interactive. This video is a little different but is super helpful as it not only improves your coding and animator skills if you have any, but also teaches you about trigger colliers ! To be honest I didn't get to far into this tutorial, my animation won't work for some reason and I think I might have to re-do them, I hate animation. I do want to try this one again as I think this tutorial will help with my game, even though it's a minor detail.

Unity tutorial 06: Thanks Google and Unity!

FINALLY I'm done this unity tutorial ! Oh my god you have know idea how long this took me. First Chrome decided not to work, like at all, I don't know since it wasn't my wi-fi or laptop since Firefox work fine for me, so why ? No idea. Cheers Google ! Screenshot taken by me. Game Idea Research

Last week I talk about Games the ideas I like to do, after a bit more thinking, I think I know what idea I'm gonna do and I'm gonna talk about it in this blog. I think the game I would like to recreate is Terraria or at least the boss aspect about it. I started researching into how would I go about it, Luckily our good old friend Jimmy Vegas has videos about how to create an rpg and more importantly how to create Boss AI.  Jimmy Vegas' Video here.  This might be able to help me and since this part of a series, the whole series might be able to help ! I also looked into an inventory system for my games, I found a blog about how to add an inventory system, which you can read  Here . This will work well with my game, as it helps the player collect and keep items, so they can use them later. Introduction to Me, Myself and I

Hello, I'm Sarah and this my introduction post ! Here's bit of information about me: I live in Dublin, in Ireland and I've live there all my life. I mainly listen to Metal, currently I've been listening to Slipknot newest Album 'We are not your Kind' also known as Vol 6..
